How Our Resident Benefits Package Is a Win-Win for Both Owners and Tenants

Here at Tide Property Management, we are very proud of our Resident Benefits Package, so if you haven’t heard anything about it yet, you need to. We use a third-party service that provides benefits to both owners and tenants, and it’s paid for by the tenants with their monthly rent. 

First, there are some great pieces of this program that provide benefits for owners. One of those is renter’s insurance. If the tenant doesn’t already come in with a provider, they get automatically enrolled in our master policy. This is great for the tenants and the owners because it provides peace of mind. Also, we offer a filter delivery service. The biggest reason HVAC systems fail is due to not routinely changing the filters, so we’ve made it easy for tenants by mailing a new filter to them every 90 days. Then they have clean air and the owner has significantly less risk of big HVAC issues.

Secondly, there are a lot of benefits for tenants. One is that we help them build their credit, which is a huge plus. Most tenants can expect to see their credit score go up by 23 to 42 points if they pay their rent on time. Plus, we offer the Resident Rewards Program, which provides gift cards and discounts on everyday expenses. With this, residents can save $4,500 each year on buying groceries and going out to eat.
