Am I required to make my property available to Section 8?
No you are not required to make you property available to Section 8. -
Are you licensed?
Yes we are licensed through SC LLR to manage property in South Carolina. -
Can I reach you after hours?
Our business hours are M-F 9am to 5pm. We are available for emergencies on nights and weekends. -
Can you put the money directly into my account?
Yes. We pay owners via direct deposit. -
Do I get to see the lease or sign it?
We provide you a copy of the lease once it has been signed. -
Do you sell real estate too?
No. -
How and when do I get my checks?
We initiate payment to owners between the 8th and 10th of every month. Depending on your banking institution it may take 3-5 business days to post in your account. -
How is rent collection handled?
We begin reaching out to residents at the end of the month to remind everyone rent will be due at the start of the month. We collect rent through our resident portal. Rent is due on the 1st of the month and late on the 6th. -
How long of a lease do you sign?
We strive for 2yr leases to reduce owner costs. -
How much security deposit do you charge the tenant?
Our Security Deposit equals 1 month’s rent to protect our owner’s investments. -
How soon can you start managing my property?
We can start today. Call us now and we’ll most likely have a strong tenant placed within the next couple weeks. -
What type of properties do you manage?
We manage Single family homes and Multifamily properties in Charleston, Dorchester, and Berkeley counties. -
What type of reports do I get and how often?
We send out monthly owner statements. Because we use the best software in the industry, our reporting is accurate and informative. -
Who holds the tenant security deposit?
Tide holds security deposits in our trust account.
